Does anyone have a fair amount of knowledge in Hen & Rooster? I am trying to find out about a particular knife they made, that is handmade and therefore could possibly be considered a custom piece.

The older Hen and Rooster's (from the 70's) are excellent knives and command high $.
IMO calling the handmade versions customs is a pretty good streach. I have no expertice in H and R's, but you may want to check with A. G. Russell or post this in the Collector's Corner. A.G. Russell’s home page

Gus,

I posted the same in the collector's forum and also e-mailed AG Russell(with full description). Just trying to cover all the bases.

BTW, it is a handmade Kriss blade, Ivory handled dagger, with nickel silver guard and pommel, and a leather sheath w/nickel-silver trim.

Very nice knife.

Most likely from the 70's.
