Hen & Rooster Shield

My daughter gave my future son-in-law a Hen & Rooster 4 blade congress for Christmas. It is a nice knife with green jigged bone handles. The shield fell out of it and I wondered where I could get a shield to replace it or he could send it for a replacement. I had a Boker shield come out and called the Boker folks and they sent me several shields. Thanks for any help. BTW, my wife gave me a Hen & Rooster canoe for Valentine's Day. It is Black Lava Coloron. It is a nice knife. My first H & R. I call it my Debbie & Russell knife. Thanks for any help on the shield.

I would talk to the folk's at Frost Cutlery. They might be able to find a shield for you.
Ever since companies stopped pinning the shileds, I've had to replace my fair share, too.
 
Thanks Bob, I'll give them a try. I know the shield doesn't make any difference about the cutting ability of a knife but if there is supposed to be a shield, I want a shield. Thanks again.
 
I had a problem with a Frost knife that had the Cargill Sidelock. I believe that it was a Hen & Rooster also. I sent it in to them and had it back in less than 10 days. No questions asked. It was nice to see that kind of service on a knife they don't make anymore.

Don't worry about it, I've got a Bulldog that's missing a shiled, and everytime my finger brushes that spot, I grimice(sp?). Best fix it now, or it'll always bother you.
