I was looking to find a bit of history on a knife that was my grandfather's. After my grandfather passed my father found a Henckels knife in my grandfather's bedside desk drawer. With the help of Elliot (Blues) and Mike Robuck I was able to find out that it is most likely a 1950's knife made by Henckels. To me it is priceless.

I thought I would share the three pics I took just now for identification.

This is a very special knife to me, but I thought it would be nice to see other Henckels fixed blades. My grandfather always told me Henckels was an incredible cutler in its day. I am really interested to see more and any and all history that people are willing to take the time to share.

Thanks again for the help on this one.

Kevin...I think we had a glimpse of this one before...I could be wrong..but its good to really see it here. This is a lovely knife, I love the whole aesthetic proportioning of the shape of the handle to that nice blade, man...that is such a awesome knife.
Thank you for showing this most special knife of yours.
