Henry Sears & Son 1865

Noobie to knife collecting after inheriting collection. Found one knife with no details or record. Henry Sears 1865 "pruner" or "hawkbill" style. This single blade pocket knife has iron blade and metal handle. Can't find anything on this knife other than the company was founded in 1865 as Henry Sear Co. Then changed to Henry Sears & Son in 1883. Anybody have any link I can read up on or a book or even a value. Trying ro upload pictures but no luck posting them from my phone photo gallery.

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. Once you have uploaded a picture to the hosting site, copy the web address of the picture. Note: picture web addresses must end in .jpg or .gif

Then go to your post and click the image tool on the toolbar next to the smiley tool. Click the link icon in the popup. (Looks like a chain.) Paste the picture address into the window. Then click the INSERT button.
