Herbertz Knives ???

Does anyone have an oppinion about Herbetz made knives. I have seen a couple that have interested me on ebay lately. They seem to manufacture a wide variety of knive. From what look like good functional knives to what I would concider novelty knives. That isn't necessarliy bad, business is business. Its just so hard to judge quality from a picture. You just never know if what your buying is good quality or some cheap look alike. Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure, but based on some email responses I've had from dealers, and searching aroung on the web, it seems that Herbertz makes some knives in Germany which are quite good,

and some elsewhere (China), which are not the same quality.

Herbertz is not really considered high quality here in Europe. Sure, they have some functional blades, however on the german knife forum, you will hardly find anyone using a Herbertz.

Are their balisongs still being made?

Where can they be found and are they worth looking for?
