A while ago, I ordered a knife from Cutlery To Go that they call a Herbertz Ninja Knife. But when I got it, the only marking I could find was on the snap for the case, and it said Nieto of Spain. The quality on it, is not much better than the China rip off copy that I sell for $6. Does anyone have any information on this knife? Thanks, JohnR7

It's a POS that is marketed under several names, i.e., Linder, and colors, i.e., OD green. I don't feel it's even worth the $6.00! I just can't bring myself to balis with plastic handle scales........

I think Dawkind (or someone) has one and they tried to redo the "inserts" but it didn't turn out like they had hoped. Sorry you got screwed (if you payed too much that is).

I've seen afew different names on these at various gun shows. Honestly...never found one that impressed me into purchasing.

I will say that the one you pictured looks better than any I've seen to date.

Please stick with the Seto project!

When I got into bali's, I bought 4 china rip offs of this style. The all were reduced to scraps of metal but the fact remains that this is one of my favorite blade and handle styles i have yet to see. Now the question is: Is there a high quality balisong of this style? Who makes it? If not, how come no one is making a decent quality bali of this style?

I thought I'd never bring myself to commision a knife project, but its starting to look like that may soon change...
