what is known about this company? are their folding knifes considered to be ok?

Nope. They offer loads of knock-offs and use butter-soft 4034 (the German equivalent of 420) for many of their blades. The few decent knives they offer (usually traditional pieces, wooden scales, damascus) are overpriced IMO.

oops, thats what i suspected.. in both shops i visited recently the owners told me about steel "stainless" only:) like thats enough to know, kha.

IIRC (don't quote me on that) they import a lot of their offerings which are usually made of 440 (probably A), so they should be of better quality, but I suspect that the heat treat on those cheapies sucks.
Forgot to add that they're liner locks are (in)famous for being unreliable.
