I found a few more of my Byrds and wanted to share some. A lot are missing (I have a Harrier around here somewhere) but here are the first few.

I don't see a lot about the Raven, but it's a nice, comfy knife...

Nice collection! Tell me about the wave modded Cara Cara. Did you use a Dremel? How well does your modded wave feature work?

Moe;

I used a Dremel with very frequent cooling breaks. I finished it with 400-grit sandpaper. The wave is long enough that it works well for me, but not so long that it gets in the way. I did four of those. I also made the jimping much deeper. The Flight and Crossbill lacked any jimping at all, so I did those as shown. As an aside, you see the pocket clip on the modded Cara Cara is set up for right-hand carry. I'm a lefty and I carry it in my left hip pocket, so I wave the knife open into a reverse grip, edge out.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm a bit surprised a Dremel could cleanly cut 8cr13M0v steel. But you did say you took plenty of cooling breaks. I see just how much steel you had to cut away! It must have been a bit of work!
