Well, kitchen knife. 
My dad had asked me to give his kitchen knives their first ever sharpening, so I hit his kitchen with my crock sticks. I sat down with the kitchen knives of various sizes (setting aside any with serations as this is a talent I do not yet have) and went to work.
The last of the knives caught my eye. It is a Gerber. All the other knives are some strange company, I think my mom got the set free from the grocery store. The blade didn't say much other than it is stainless steel. So I asked my dad about it. All he knows is he picked it up about 30 years ago, doesn't remember much about it. It appears to be a wonderful knife. It didn't take much to put a beautiful edge on it, which was a relief since the rest were burr city (at least one is a complete gonner for now, I may pay to have it hit some wet stones but it may not even be worth it).
Is there some way of getting some info on this Gerber? What it is, etc.? Thanks!
