There has been a lot of talk about the speed and ease of deployment of the Yojimbo 2's deployment. I can deploy it as quick or quicker than my PM2 because of its blade weight.

Here is a quick iPad video I just did. Temp is 93 degrees out and I wanted to show a one handed deployment.
Note, it also can be gravity deployed but I show the detent is plenty strong enough and it will not open accidentally.

Its a great design.

Cool. And not one drop.
I'd love a Japanese Style Blade in a Spyderco model.

There is. It's called the Bob Lum tanto. c46 model number IIRC. :P

They had a grey sprint run a few months ago because the c46 was retired years ago.

Regarding the Yojimbo2: The more I see this knife the more I like it...even if it looks like an overgrown X-acto knife. I find it purely functional though, and therein lies the beauty of it.

I liked mine but the detent was too strong and the opening hole too small.

At first, I didn't really like the yojimbo 2, but after seeing it a lot I'm kinda itching to get myself one.
