Hello folks,

I am new here, English is not what my mother taught me.. so be merciful :) I am waiting for the order from John - scheduled for the next month. The knife is based my on my drawing, so hopefully it will turn out well.

This is a great little subforum, and John's knives are superb. Considering where you live, I can't wait to see some trail wandering photos!

If weather will allow. Autumn in this part of Canada turns trails into swamps :(

Glad to have a new member hanging out here.

Would like to see photos of your knife when you get it. It's interesting to see all the customer designed knives that John has made.

Actually it`s pretty impressive, and I think it will make a really good woods knife. I don`t know if you hunt or not, but it would excell at skinning. Sorry I`m late welcoming you here, I was sicker than a dog last night, and laid down about 6. Did not get up untill 2 this morning.

Burboss, it's best to use a photo hosting account like photobucket. Then, when you want to post a photo, you click on the little icon of the mountain with the yellow background in the composition tool bar, and drop in the appropriate URL.

Can't wait to see the knife.

I didn't know about the little mountain icon. I have a photobucket account but I always copy and paste the ...[img] link.

Hearing that it would be a good woods knife, peaks my interest. Looking forward to photos.

Hello, John. I used to hunt, but not yet in Canada. Too busy at work :( But I did keep hunting needs in mind when I was drawing my knife.

Thanks! John just sent me a letter with long awaited words - he started working on my order. Now I am getting a bit impatient.
