I just got a Granddaddy Barlow. This was a Camillus made knife put together for Smoky Mountain Knife works. I know that it was a 300 series knife. The number would be 330, 331, or 332. The thing is which number is the correct one for this knife. I know that 329 is the freedom trapper and 333 is the California toothpick. I know that there are two barlows that fall between those two. There is the Granddaddy and a smaller two bladed one. There might also be another knife but I don’t know what it might be. Please help. I know you guys know this stuff.

WilltheBarb,
I will attempt to have an answer for you tomorrow. I do have the info in my reference cards. On those special project knives, I never take an opportunity to really learn the model numbers because I so rarely look at the knives.
You are correct in your belief that there were several models in that number range. I seem to recall there was even a 334 and/or 336. Again, let me check!
Thanks for your patience and if someone else wants to weigh in and reply, go right ahead!!

Ok, I checked my 300 series knives from SMKW from the last decade:
322 available in black or yellow composition, Congress pattern, 1995

331 available in black or yellow compostion, also in brown jigged bone. Large barlow with "Granddaddy Barlow" blade etch, 1999

332 available in black or yellow composition, small barlow 1999

333 available in imitation stag delrin or brown jigged bone, angler knife with "California Toothpick" blade etch, 1999

334 available in black composition or brown jigged bone, Millenium trapper with 2000 blade etch and Chuck Buck/CJ Buck signatures (I forgot to closely check the blade etch but my recollection is probably close!!), 1999

I find the models with brown jigged bone to be particularly pleasing to the eye. The bone seems to be first-rate quality.

Larry,
I am so glad you knew the answer to this one. All my reference materials are now packed for the trip up north.
Willthebarb,
Sounds like you have an impressive collection going!
