I completed this one tonight. I took some liberties so I hope Ira is cool with it. I put some Celtic embossing on the dangler and the firesteel holder.

I also put a retention portion to the welt (not pictured) so there is two extra stitches in the back that are out of the normal stitch channels. I also added a larger lanyard tube - normal ones are 3/16th - this one is 1/4. I wanted to add it to match the large lanyard tube in the handle.

I hope he likes it.

This knife will NOT come out of the sheath on accident - I promise! ;)

By the way - Andy smoked this knife. I liked the handle material and the grinds are well done!

Wow. That is really pretty TF. Good job.

The knife and sheath arrived today.
They are even more impressive in person.
Tomorrow am I am off to PEACE at Marty Simon's.
I am taking along my Woodsman and my EDC.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend all.

I am glad you are happy with it Sharpeye. I did some different things on this one (I added two stitches in the back to hold a sort of lug in the welt) and I was hoping you would not mind.

Have fun this weekend - tell TonyM that his sheath is done and others are commenting on it on WSS! ;)
