Here is what happened to the knife blanks

I really like Oupa's jigging of the exotic woods, the extended handles and the hidden lanyard pins, and the bone choil cover and....dang! I guess I like them! Nice work and my complements to Oupa!

All some people need is an opportunity to excell. Let me know when you want to mess with some more styles. In the future I will send two of everything one for you and one someone who you might want to give one to. I will be glad to pick up any cost factor er for the second one. Nice job you have a gift It always makes me feel good when I can assist someone who has ability be able to express it. I also made a knife and tried to sell it on ebay but there rules against switchblade knives forced me to take it off. LT. PS Great Job they look a lot better than they did sitting in a drawer and never being used.

I tried a little bone carving awhile back, and I was amazed how strong it was. This was cow shin bone, I think...from the grocery store meat dept., labelled "soup bones". It had to be a pretty thin piece, for me to snap it in half. No wonder bone has been used for knife handles for so long. It looks cool, natural, too....like that first knife. Those are both great jobs, Fixer!
Just curious....what did you use for a finish on that second knife?

Thanks for the compliments all. :D

Unfortunately for myself LT, I am not that skilled. I sent those blanks to the
land of Oz for their customization. I really wanted to make those blanks shine
and oupa did a great job of it. Now as soon as deer season arrives these new
Schrades will be dressing out something that has horns and hooves. I had a
real passion for those two blades and I am thrilled at how those turned out.

LOvely results from those blanks, fixer.

Post pics when you use it on the many game you're sure to get.

Does it come with the patent rights and a certificate of authenticity? Can I get it etched with "first production run" or "They turned out the lights"?

OK glad it worked out, did you want to buy my switchblade? LT

I would like to Lt, but they are quite illegal in NC.

and codger, I suppose one could have that done, but I was told not to do
that in the Gulf Coast Assistance thread. :p

I get confused but I think Codger was referring to my switch knife rather than your pair of beautiful custom adaptations. You do get a delicate letter of authenticity written on one unused double ply sheet of Scott tissue. The engraving on the blade is ( may also be used as a tougue depressor or paint stirrer. ). While I do not have patent rights I do have a pair of patent leather shoes I can include with the purchase. LT

Lt, what is the third knife design that is like those two? I think that model is
named the "sharp finger hunter" or something similar.
