Hello, everybody
I have been working on a large, complex order that has taken a lot of my time lately but as it is very close to completion, I have taken a short break on it to make a couple kiridashi and try a paracord wrapped handle on then as I got a lot of paracord lately.
Different from my other knives, these have a very simple etched finish and are very tool-like, strictly use-oriented. Blades are 3/16" thick 5160 steel, 6" long overall and have a 2 1/4" chisel ground edge. Both have rounded spine and are painted black underneath the cord to avoid nasty rust to form on that area. As you can see, the name Spartan fits perfectly.
Let me know what you think, buddies.
