This is probably familiar to alot of you because it was on Knife Legends site. Hanson auto from about 2001 or so. Not sure of exact date. For those who are worried about "matching scales" look no further.

I took this photo in a few minutes and I don't know what I was thinking. Coops is WAY better but why not post my quickie also. I didn't mean to copy him either. My background is brown in person and looks really similar here.

Nice piece Jon, and since Don isn't making too many autos these days I would hold onto this one.

Looks like you have Champagne taste on a beer budget.

I can think of worse reasons to be broke. Very nice piece Jon - congrats!

Oh boy that's a nice one! Congrats!

Nice piece Jon.
Very reasonable price too considering what Don's autos are going for.
Nice photo as well.

An oldie perhaps, but a GOODIE!

Nice score Jon! Really like the damascus and the ivory. You beat me to a Hanson auto my friend and I'm diggin" the one ya got!

Don's autos all work as quickly and expertly as they look. Jon asked me about my impressions before he pulled the trigger, and I couldn't tell him anything negative.

I sent him the larger photo file, and once you start immersing yourself in Don's storytelling mosaic damascus and layers, you can't put the book down. :D

You are rich beyond your means, Jon! Really good photo, too. Never apologize for learning and doing things well on your own.

Nice addition to your collection, Jon.

Now all you have to do is work extra hours and catch
something amazing at the BLADE show too....

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Congratulations Jon. That IS an exceptional knife made from extraordinary damascus.

Good pictures too!

Congratulations, Jon! Great addition to your collection. Love the damascus on it. Awesome scales. Don's autos perform smoothly. Super grab.

Just stunning.

Congrats Jon, for me Don is a maker whose knives I will be floored by before I even see them. Without exception, I just have not seen one that I did not drool over, but extra big puddles are forming over this one.
