OK Here it is
you guys said MOP but I wanted to put some Ivory in it too.
This is what I came up with.
O/L 8 1/8" BL 4"
154CM Stainless, select Black Buffalo horn,
MOP spacers,Black lip MOP Moon, you can't see
it reflecting in the Picture but It's nice
Ivory Sun,
German silver Bolsters
these are difficult materials to put
together and make look right
I liked this challenge.

Sharp looking work! How thick is the steel and did you use a mill
to cut the half circle at the plung?
I think I like that one better than your 103,real real nice work:)

very nice work Dan! i really like the inlay work...very slick:cool: the whole package looks great!

Good Golly! Incredible! Where did you learn to do such nice inlay? How'd you do it?! Seriously, any books or sites you could recommend?

Yow, that's great! What a fat beefy handle on that bad boy, and just like the rest, that inlay is awesome. I'm with John, can you point me at some instruction on inlay like that?

Thanks Guys this was fun,
Nathan no just used a file to
rough it out, it's just as
fast for that part of it, the blade just about 5/32"W ..

The inlay is very simple on this one, Look at it close
everything is Round.
I used my mill with two end mills, one was for the moon
the other bigger one for the rest,
One roofing nail and my dremal,

The way I type, it would take me a year to tell you how.
If you look close you'll see how I did it I'm sure..

I'll see if I can do a tutorial on it.

I don't have any training other than a book I bought
some time ago and it didn't apply much here.
it's mostly using the tools you have.
a good heavy drill press and a slide vice would be the
only complicated stuff you need to do this,

IG I don't think I'll have it by then,it's sold
and he's going to want it soon.
By then I should have something
that's not sent out at the time. Thanks All.:)

I don't want to take away from the rest of the knife by saying that inlay is beautiful....but that inlay is beautiful!!!!
