Jerry, this one looks like an instant classic. Great sized utilitarian blade in nuclear tough INFI. Classy looking micarta scales that approximate a ridged horn appearance & look like they will be very secure in the hand. Functional hammerable pommel that flows sweetly into the handle. Choil big enough to use without modification. The usual Busse bombproof construction.

Like Pavlov's puppies say, "The bell has rung and I'm a droolin' dog."

RokJok,

I might have to use that description on our website.

Aw man, now I gotta do more of the "honey-do" items around the house.....

Very sweet. How many cases of Mabel for one?

Jerry, remember Greenjacket's comments a few months back about why the BM was just too much knife for him to carry with him in the field, and that with a team the equipment & gear requirements for each member were different than for a person or soldier traveling or operating alone? His point was that as a member of a team with more specialized gear than a single man can carry, all he needed was a light-weight, medium sized utility knife that is super reliable and won't fail.

It seems as if you had him in mind when you designed this knife, because this is the perfect model for that application, AS WELL AS for a BM-carrying person or soldier who operates alone to have to suppliment the BM in smaller cutting applications requiring more control and precision.

It would also make an excellent partner with a tomahawk, hatchet, or machete. Any such combination should take care of all your camping or survival needs with regard to any cutting or chopping applications.

Looks like the Busse team just bumped the standards up another notch or two.

Great-looking package. How 'bout some specs? Like:

1. blade length measured from handle face to point,
2. over-all length,
3. weight,
4. balance point,
5. price,
6. sheath type?

Thanks--Will

Too cheap.

Sorry, but I mean...that's just too damn cheap.

I had every intention of passing on this one, because I have a Basic 5 and great SH-E and BM-E users, and I just don't need any more INFI users...but I mean...

that's just too damn cheap.

If I were to call the Busse shop how long a wait would I have to get this hot piece? Also what kind of sheath does it have, cordura or kydex? In other words I want one,and by the way quit making these knives it only makes me want to spend money!

Wow! That's got to be one of the most beautiful Busses yet. Very clean lines, nothing showy, just hard beauty with amazing performance to back it up. Plus, that rounded handle looks really ergonomic. Congrats on a great design!
