Just snagged me an older Carbon Steel Tigershark tonight and am having Leatherman make me a custom sheath for it. I am soo Excited. Should have them in the next 2 to 4 weeks. Pics will be coming when Leatherman gets things done for me. Yeah yeah, I know I can make my own sheaths, but the chance to get a knife and a custom sheath for it at the same time is just to good to pass up. :D:D

Soon I will be able to walk about with the Shark on one hip and my Tech I on the other. Trees beware!! :D:D

Robbie, I asked Dwayne to take plenty of knife and sheath pics before he mails it to me. Will definantly share them when I get them. :thumbup: Yes it sure is a Big sharp knife. glad I was able to snag one and get a sweet sheath for it. Gives me something to look forward to this month besides dating.

those carbon steel Tigersharks are the coolest.... I don't care for the serrations on the blade of the newer ones.

Carl, your Tigershark is safe. ;) Wasn't able to make the trip down there to scavange it, so I had to buy one instead. Glad I did, the trip would have cost more then what I'm paying for the knife and sheath. :p

No Gun Blueing for me, at least not right away. I like the satin finish on my Tech I and hope the Shark looks the same. Sure was a good score. But will probably be my last for a while. Got a hand made bolo last weekend and the shark coming later in the month. Got to save some money for the lovely ladies. :D Hopefully the girls I'm interested don't try to steal my new knives! :eek:

Dang it!! There goes my chance at getting a razor sharp Tech II and Bowie and Recon Bowie...... ;) :p

Hey, just had a crazy idea for the sheath. Make it a piggy back rig for the Shark and my Seal Revolver. Low ride or drop leg configuration with 1 or 2 leg straps. What do you guys think?

I'm sure if we pull it off a lot of people will want it. But it will be mine, All Mine I tells yah!!!! :D Think about it, a 14" SOG Bowie AKA Tigershark and SEAL Revolver.. There won't be much I can't handle with that combo. Will have my EZ-Lap M hone on my belt for touching up the edges, then life will be good. :D

Congradulations on the excellent knife purchase! I have the old SOG tigershark and i was mesmorized the first time i saw it...Their is nothing like a 9 1/2 inch blade with a mirror finish getting pulled from a fresh leather smelling sheath :D . I love the Carbon steel on the old Tiger but make sure you take care of it!!!!! I took mine freshater fishing in perfect condition and when i came back that night their were tiny spots of rust near the handle of the knife on the carbon steel! Be sure to put a nice coat of oil on her before putting her away and if your going to store her for a long time be sure to keep it out of the sheath because the leather has moisture in it and can rust the blade.

hmm, I of course like the idea of a piggyback rig for the new Tigershark.....

but hey dude, I ain't so keen on the idea of piggybackin' one of them twirly-thingies onto a Fixed Blade Masterpiece Sheath.....

well, anyway, you know me and my fear of them twirly-folder kinda thingies.....

Now, were you to piggyback a SOG Bowie, or even a Tech I, now that would grab my attention !!

Ya i'm one of the gifted ones to have a Carbon steel tigershark and maybe when i get back home from college ill buy another one as i know a place that has 1 left in stock thats been their for a couple of years along with 2 original SOG tech 1's! :D . When i remove my tigershark from her sheath I can hear the sunnies swim in fear as they know their going to be use for bait and have the honor of meeting my near 1 pound of cold hard carbon steel :D
