Been suffering with pretty bad abdominal pains all weekend, so this evening the hubby (G19G26) said I'd better go to the ER. They started an IV, gave me morphine (might as well have been M&M's, I'd have enjoyed them better)! Anyway, went to get a CT scan -- too much moving around, for all the pain I was having. So, upon returning to my room, asked doctor for something else. This time they brought dilaudid.... It took the edge off. BUT, nothing could prepare me for what came next. Doctor comes in the room and pulls up a chair right next to my bed. I know when the doc sits down, it ain't good! He says, "I need to talk to you about your scan. We found 3 masses and 1 of them is near your liver." They are thinking the cancer has returned. Well, I couldn't hold back, and the water works came on. ER doctor, put in a call to my oncologist, so I have to make an aoppointment to see him within 2 days. Not sure if I'm facing more surgery, chemo.... or what.... I'm just feeling kind of numb right now...

I sure could use your prayers, not only for me, but for Chuck as well. When I am "sick", he has his hands full.

Hang in there kid, my mother had a couple of bouts with cancer but she's 90+ and still toddling on.
 
Very sorry to hear the bad news. Hopefully it will not be a bad as you fear. You will be in my prayers.

I know it's difficult but try not to stress yourself out on things that are out of your hands.

You'll pull through thanks to friends and family and faith.

Prayers outbound! Hang in there Sweety! I know you and Chuck have had a rough road, and I am praying for a lot of blacktop.
 
Don't ever give up. You have my prayers for a quick and successful resolution this time around. I know it's no fun but ... :thumbup:
 
Barb it was so great meeting you and Chuck at Blade . I will definately keep you in my prayers . You and Chuck made me feel like family and for that I can't thank you enough .
I will be praying for you .
