$3500?

That's what I paid for my first hearing aid in 2001. My next one cost $2000 and was much better. About a year ago I got a new and even better one at Costco for $1300.

I only have one for my right ear. I am totally deaf in my left ear. Eh? What did you say?

Probably the best two initial replies to an OP I have ever read here. :D

Sorry to lower the bar with the third....

Patsy's new medicine is missing also. There are no bargain places here like Cosco, etc. What to do ?

Message too short. I'll try again.

Man, my dad just misplaced his the other day. He has had only one for about 3 years ever since one of my nieces accidentally stepped on the other and crushed it. An expensive misstep to say the least. Similar replacement costs. Hope you find it.

Can you claim on your homeowners or renters insurance?

Seriously, for something that expensive and so easy to loose or be stolen, you should get some insurance.

BTW, whenever my dad takes his out he places it in a secure eye glass case. The ones that snap themselves shut. He refused to wear them for the longest time and recently he's been wearing the one more frequently. I think his hearing is getting worse and he's tired of hearing my mother complain. Funny, I think that's the same reason he used to not use them. On a different note, Target pharmacies usually have prescription prices that are pretty similar to Costco prices. Maybe try finding a Target for the meds. Good luck.

As I have gotten older, I have found that there's less and less worth hearing, anyway.

Check your shoes.....

My step-dad lost one of his hearing aids for about a month. Found it in his right shoe one day. Turns out it was filling the space where he was missing most of his big toe.
True story!!

:D
