I wake up about 7:30 am on sunday , after a few cups of joe I decide whether or not to drive down to the Hofbrau and watch the game there (the usual Steeler haunt in Fresno) but , I'm thinkin it's N-Y day and most folks will be "sleeping one off" and watching it on TV so I decide to go there , if nobody's there I'll go back home and watch it whilest doing my laundry
Well I get there and the parking lot is jam packed and inside is literally standing room only , filled with Black and Gold (the back bigscreen is filled with Cheeseheads for some odd reason),a buddy of mine saved me a spot in case so I bellied up and ordered my breakfast and proceeded to watch the Lions do a pretty decent job of holding out to my Steelers.
Actually as the quarters went by I realized that we shouldnt be struggling like this against the Lions , not if we expect to make it in the play-offs....
So this coming weekend is revenge time !!! The Bengals are one of those teams you dont expect to be a thorn in your side but , here they are sticking us right in the butt ! (left cheek).
I guess "Cincy's" time has come , they have been one of the laughing stocks of the AFC for some time now.... This will not be an easy game by any means , this is the play-offs !
Revenge is the word though , losing to them earlier in the season was like getting KO'd by a 12 year old kid , quite embarrassing !
I get frustrated with Pittsburgh year after year... So many time so close to that elusive 5th ring.
Let's see what happens.
