Hello all Beckerheads

Have asked all prior to purchase of my first Becker which model and why with a lot of interest in a big model the King BK9 which I have my mind set on and will be getting, so which model did I start with believe it or not a Becker Eskabar why you ask, with my intent to get many Becker's and all being user's I was looking for a different model that would be unique and a safe queen well after month's of looking just acquired a 1 of a kind Eskabar hopefully Ethan does not tell me there are 50 or more of the one I got. The knife in question was the proto for the Eskabar prior to production and yes I will have pics.
Thanks to all Beckerheads with the many mods and suggestions with so much input on model's, specs, and uses. Like the title says here we go and there is no stopping me now Thanks again to all and enjoy the Becker Forum
 
Thanks Warrior so I guess there are more than one when I get will show some pics then we can see how similar they are maybe polecat will get some pics up also so we can compare just glad I got going with the Beckers as they are some awesome pieces of metal and in some cases art the way some beckerheads finish and mod their blades just look at that modded BK5 my god that one is still in my head and cliches knives also amazing Thanks Again

THIS LITTLE BEAUTY IS A BK14 BECKER ESKABAR PROTO WITH NICE HARD PLASTIC SHEATH STAMPED WITH THE BK-KABAR LOGO THE BLADE HAS NO STAMP AS IT WAS THE PROTO BEFORE LOGO WAS FINALISED ONE OF A KIND BUT STILL VERY FUNCTIONAL

Here we go first Becker and it is a safe Queen, as others have stated not a one of a kind but I am guessing not to many out there. This was acquired from an ex Kabar employee that I have purchased from prior with some vintage proto's along with this one the BK14 Prior to production and the final design decision before manufacturing. Mail arrived 20 minutes ago so here are some quick shots Thanks for looking, here I go 1 down many more to go

Awesome score! I would definitely keep that one in the safe. You need one of the proto neckers to go with it.
 
Thanks tman038, and DerekH will be keeping eye out and yes this will be a safe Queen with the many Beckers to follow being heavy Users Thanks for taking a look just hope Ethan does not tell me there are many of these little beauties out there.
