Hey guys. Thought I'd let you know of this vid I made this week of me sharpening a Kershaw Leek 14C28N RC 58-60 Hardness with the Wicked Edge Pro Sharpener. I go thru all the grits up to 2500 & use the strops down to .5 micron & sometimes .25 micron diamond spray. I have more vids coming so please subscribe if you are interested.

The prospect of taking 48 minutes to sharpen a 3-inch blade does not appeal to me:thumbdn:. Actually I'm not even sure it took half an hour to do a single knife on my Edge Pro, and I'm sure I could cut down on that even more with what I know now.

I don't think that time saving knife sharpening techniques are the point of his video. He reprofiled the knife and brought it up to a mirror polish capable of whitteling hair. While it is overkill for me, I enjoyed watching his technique and also how he went about removing the scratch pattern made by each previous grit. As with anything, take away any positives and see how they might add to what you are currently doing.

Nice video. I had not seen the Wicked Edge in action before. Thanks for sharing.

Did not think I would but I watched the entire video. Thank you. Great Job! As a sharpening Hobbiest and Wicked Edge owner, really appreciated watching another in action.
Made me feel much more confident in some of the techniques I thought I was the only one using, as well as I picked up some ideas from your video.
May I ask, What is that tape you are using (both the silver and the brown) or is it the same tape?
How does that edge hold up for you?
