here's a source for paracord for the PBFs

Hunter, I already had that link but have never orderd from
them, have you? If yes, did you have to buy such a large
quantity?

That cord would be great for the "underwrap". Pull out the center filler if you want a flat underwrap and a thinner overall handle. Than some silk or even polyester flat band for the traditional outer wrap. That would look real sweet. Then a light epoxy treatment and it would be solid as a rock. The outer Japanese styly wrap can be a b!tch to do until you get the hang of it. I have done some swords I made with that wrap. It does feel solid. You could even get some menuki to put under the outer wrap. Now that would be  . I wish I had been able to get in on those PBF before they were all gone. But I missed out. Too bad, I love that fun wrapping and special personalizing you can do to a semi done knife like those PBF's. Have fun you guys. I envy Ya on those sweeties. Wish I had been near a computer in time to get a three piece set. You will have fun making them your own with those finishing touches!:D  ;)

I don't know if this is important to you at all, just wanted to add that the paracord in the above link doesn't seem to be the milspec kind of paracord that is generally known. Standard paracord has breaking strength of 550 lbs and seven inner cords. Just thought I'd let you know. This stuff will still be great for wrapping.
