I think most of you that have been here for any time have seen my work. No, I’m not a knife maker, what I do basically is play with images, and I’m sometimes referred to as Pic Makin Bastid. I’m not a Graphics expert with expensive programs, all I have is Adobe PhotoDeluxe, it’s like the kiddie version of Adobe PhotoShop, but I have been able to get some interesting results.

Examples of my work can be seen on my PhotoPoint site. I don’t just cut and paste peoples faces as a joke, I’ve worked on friends pics, cropping, color correcting, and adding backgrounds and such. I have also gotten assignments from some of the makers here to virtually render their ideas or drawings, and that’s the reason for this post. I don’t know how many of you would be interested in my working on your designs, but I’m offering my services to you? So, if you have some drawings that you’ve been working on and want to see how they will look ‘fleshed out’, drop me an e-mail, and let’s talk.

Now, I must admit I do this for fun, but I am not opposed to accepting knives as your of way of saying thanks.

Wow Phil, those are fantastic pictures!!!! I would love for you do your stuff with one of my blades! Would you need the actual knife or just a good digital picture of it???

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Thanks for responding guys.

What I really wanted to offer the makers here is a service while still in the design stage to take their drawings and kind of color them in, like what I did for Darrel and his switchblade drawings (see above). What he was able to do is show his customers in a few days what a new knife would look like in different variations, before he actually made the knife.

There are lots of people taking good photographs and I'm not really set up at this point to do that, but I can work on pics for you. Most pictures can be improved by color correcting, retouching and adding the right background.

The only time you would need to send me an actual knife is if you like the work I've done and you feel compelled to send me one as a way of saying thanks.

Tim, I'm glad you like it, but you could have waited for the final version.

Phil, you are some kind of a Pic Makin Bastid, I must say. Very nice!
