I think most of you that have been here for any time have seen my work. No, I’m not a knife maker, what I do basically is play with images, and I’m sometimes referred to as Pic Makin Bastid. I’m not a Graphics expert with expensive programs, all I have is Adobe PhotoDeluxe, it’s like the kiddie version of Adobe PhotoShop, but I have been able to get some interesting results.

Examples of my work can be seen on my PhotoPoint site. I don’t just cut and paste peoples faces as a joke, I’ve worked on friends pics, cropping, color correcting, and adding backgrounds and such. I have also gotten assignments from some of the makers here to virtually render their ideas or drawings, and that’s the reason for this post. I don’t know how many of you would be interested in my working on your designs, but I’m offering my services to you? So, if you have some drawings that you’ve been working on and want to see how they will look ‘fleshed out’, drop me an e-mail, and let’s talk.

Now, I must admit I do this for fun, but I am not opposed to accepting knives as your of way of saying thanks.

You do the photo-manipulation & I'll design and produce the brochures and mebbe we'll each get a knife

Now all we need is a web-guy and a printer & we can open a shop! I can just see it now...truckloads of knives coming in every day

If, and thats a big IF I were a maker, I would definatly take ya up on it. Your work gets better and better.

As a side note...im working hard on my photography, and Phil has been a big help in giving me advice on lighting and sharpness adjustments.

Bruce, I've been to your site many times and admire your work a lot. I don't see much I can do to help, your pics look good.

What I was really hoping to do is what I did for Darrel (see above) is to take a drawing and render it as realisticaly as possible. I'm working on one for Tim Herman right now, and if I get his permission I'll post it here when it's done. What I feel this allows you makers to do is to show a customer what a knife will look like and make changes before starting on a knife.

Well, I got the okay from Tim, I got the drawings last night and this is what I came up with.

It's not every day you see a Herman knife with Carbon Fiber, screws and pins, this is a first.
