I think it looks like a great kinfe. But it was not just threw together. Super workmanship.

I dont think you threw it together! Good looking knife!
Any hints on how to get that plunge line so perty???

See what someone can do in a couple of hours. Show off.
This would be a great every day carry blade.
Killer workmanship as usual
Bet ya its sold already, aint it Don. :p :D

jeez, the common theme around here lately is "I just threw this together".
by the looks of that I think I should try throwing mine a little more :p :D
great work.
Steve

Thanks for your kind words guys.
Brian - I don't have any secret for the plunge line, I've just ground a whole lota blades.
Kim - not sold, you guys are the first to see this one, it's goin to Chicago real soon.

Don

Don Hanson!!

you NEVER throw anything together!! I'm jealous of your proficiency and can say having looked at your knives in person, they are first class fit and finish.
(I'm wait'n for that folder class.... )
The long bolsters are just really cool. This almost has that "trade knife" look to it. I take it you finished this all out, disassebled it, etched it then pinned and polished the pin heads?, any adheasives here at all?, or did you just nonchalantly pin it all in place just so?

If you ":threw that together" I would love to see what happens when you take your time lol :p
Nice , excellent , knife.

I bet I could "throw things togheter" for the rest of my life and they would not look half as good!
Great piece, Don!

Mitch, you're right about the construction and no adheasive. I put a heavy coat of wax on everything and pined it together. On a heavy use knife I would also epoxy the bolsters and scales. (What folder class?) :p

Thanks again guys, Don

Forget the crummy knife. What, are you now learning levitation? Sheesh. And you even have the balls to post EXTREMELY clean photos of your knives without any fanfare whatsoever...

No soup for YOU! :p
