I love that knife! in fact the same exact version of the Osprey (with the "flame maple" handles...as it was described at the time in Delta Z's literature), has been sitting here on my desk for quite some time. It's the knife that got me into knifemaking in the first place. You might say that in many ways, it quite literally changed my life.
When I bought the Osprey several years ago, I was so taken with the sexy design that I decided to check out the website of the knife maker, who's name is on the blade...some fellow named Darrel Ralph...To make a long story short, I wound up on the phone with Darrel (having no idea at the time who he was)...He convinced me to try my hand at one of his new kits, which had only recently come on the market...and the rest is history (and hence my name "Osprey Guy").
By the way, very nice image...

Yeah Baby!
PS. Too bad about the demise of Delta Z a couple of years ago...They offered some very cool, mostly Italian-made knives at a great price point.
Wich one you said you carried a lot - the big one or the small one???
Delta Z had some nice design and his owner, Barnaby Zelmann, had some innovative ideas and was a nice guy. It is sad the company is no lumger in business.
