Here's someone we should support... for all

I have used all kinds of thinks to hold hot steel. The tongs i like for blade work are flat about 3/4 to 1 inch wide and about 3 inches long on the work side of the pivot point.

The bottom of the tong mouth has a flat u shape that alows the top half of the tong to open and close but it stops the blade from moving side was.

Vice grips and most other flat tongs will let the work move side ways when hit
the sides make life much more fun.

I did look at the site. He seems to make a nice tong.
A warning of sorts: The short reins are good for coal forges. A gasser with short reins is asking to have the fuzz popped off your hands in the dragon's breath. In short, I like em longer. :)
