It is my understanding that he did custom work for Schrade at one time and still does some work of his own. Here is a past discussion. If you search this board for his name you can find much more.

I was well aware of that thread Upstream...and it all came to pass...the best that can be said for the whole sorry episode is that "some" of the uninformed but becoming informed public were actually given an opportunity to be a temporary minder of these fine artefacts....my 2OT and 3OT Herman Williams' are examples.
In an ideal world with less avarice they should have occupied in tact a section of your National Knife Museum in Tennessee...however if they had to be disseminated what better way than to give 'Joe Average' a fair and equal chance within the bounds of the greed that prompted the sale.How often are the "little collectors" ever given a go to participate.....and they were vide Ebay and if it was the decision of some not to bid on Principal I laud that too and respect that decision, but when I was given a chance to own a part of this collection I went for it. Of course my kids rations were halved in the process.
My Son has a saying : 'The day that shit is worth money poor people will be born without arseholes!' My saying is a bit lighter: With Global Warming isn't it wonderful that the rich will invite the poor to occupy their seaside mansions and the rich shall inevitably move to whence the poor came from.'
