Ok I've got to have this folder as it's got everything I want.

I am just looking for the regular production knife.

I realize that all of the pre-order are accounted for, so I'd like to get on someones standby list.

I'm sure there will be people that drop out & my money will be ready by then.

Let me know who can do it.

If you want a "standard production" model all you have to do is call a dealer and get on the list. :)

I just called two dealers to check, and they both had lots open. :thumbup:

Yeah I'm just looking for a standard production model.

Looking for some clarification. The ones targeted for Dec. delivery are not "standard production"? Is there a special run thats going to be released first? If so is there any room in that run?

Second ?- When is the "standard run" going to be released and how will that differ from the first?

Third ?- is the price on the standard production diff?

Good questions, which model was the one going for $175? The special limited edition of 250, or the standard production model?
 
Guys the way I understand it is as follows.

There is a limited run of 250 numbered knives that are/were only available through DXP. They are $250. They are all spoken for at his time according to what has been posted. They are targeted for release in December.

There is a standard production model that is only available through the ESEE dealer network. The price for it is around $175, that may vary a bit from dealer to dealer. These are targeted for release in December also, according to what has been posted previously. "Targeted" being the key word.

Teacher got it right on the differences.

Simply go to our dealer list on our web page and make a few phone calls and you will find one. Not trying to cut you short but we have no way of knowing what dealers are sold out on these.

I have no idea how many are being made for the "standard production" run.

I have already told you about one, that was Roger.

I sent a message though the "Contact Us" page at the-knife-connection.com but never heard back. I'm going to call on Monday and make sure I'm on the list for a production run.
