HEST numbering

Is there a difference between the 'numbered' and 'un-numbered' HESTs? Thought I read something on it in a past thread, but I do not have search capabilities. Can anybody shed some light on the history this numbered thing?
Just not sure which one I should be looking to purchase, or if it really matters.

the only difference is THE number and about $40... RYP sold the first 250 HEST's from his website, and they came with his autographed book. The production HEST's only lack the "limited" number, the fit and finish are the same high quality we have become used to.

they are available at some retailers, you should try calling them and asking them directly for a numbered one
