Finally got my HEST. It's awesome! You guys are going to love it.

The size is great and it feels great in my hands. Good job RYP, RC, and Rowen!
 
so i guess now the question is..... how do you fill her up, and how to build a kit around it.... guess i better look at my goodie box see what i can pull out. im thinking i might need to put a screw driver bit some where on my kit to get into the hidie spot.
 
I'm also going to get a production version when they come out and wrap the handle in paracord.

I love the micarta scales on this one. But I also love the paracord wrap on my Izula's.

So, I guess I'll have to get another one!
 
drools im getting a busse tank buster and even that will not sate the lust i have for this knife... i really think this is gonna be my be all end all edc knife. im not gonna stop colecting and there are a bunch of knives that i realy want to own, but as far as daily users go this knife has everything i need and nothing i dont in a carry sized package i cant wait to hold one in my hand judge it myself i think im going to be quite pleased.

Ordered mine on the 14th and still waiting on my RC-4 from june 30th from KSF, damn customs let it pass already !! The waiting is killing me

Did you try to unscrew the handle, is it easy ?

If I remember correctly I think I was in the early 60's as far as order number goes.

The screws came off easy on my HEST.

Congrats on the Hest and the RC4!
 
I ordered an RC-4 and an RC-5 yesterday,my HEST today #170. and I just got my Izula last week!!!!! I NEED HELP!!!! :eek:

I know..... I will post some pics once they all arrive. the RC-4 and 5 should be here by tuesday or wednesday, I'm not sure about the HEST, confirmation said I was order #82, but I dont know what that translates to as far as time. I know some RAT Packers whos order #s were in the 60s that are still waiting.

Sorry Bro... you in the WRONG forum to be seeking help from a RAT addiction... and while we are on the subject... I noticed you didn't mention the RC-3.... you REALLY need at least one..... :D

As for the RC-3, I will be ordering one of them when the RC-10 comes out. Ive decided to buy them in pairs....so they dont get lonely in transit.:D
