HEST Scout carry?

I don't have any pics of the factory sheath scout carried but it's very possible. Just lace the 4 corresponding holes of the sheath with wet 550 chord and make sure it's tight. The sheath won't wobble and will allow you to horrizontal carry on one side or vertical carry on the other. I wouldn't trust the kydex's retention though...

I tried re-pressing my sheath for the second time this week and I don't even get an audible click anymore...

the kydex has plenty of retention unless worn, and if worn can be repressed, just gotta do it right.

i carry it scout at times for several reasons, 1st is if i'm wearing a pistol belt and a pants belt if the hest is on my pants belt its in the way turn it sideways and not in the way. 2nd its easy to conceal.

Cool is it ez to re sheath once its drawn?

I would. If you want extra retention move the chicago screw from the second

hole down on the choil side to the top hole on the choil side.

It will be very tight.

Very true. That was the first thing I did because I tend to carry my knives tip-up a lot of the time. Now that I have the ESEE3 boot clip on it with 8 screws the retention is really tight...just the way I like it.
