I have a Busse Basic #7 and now a Satin Jack. Which Busse should I get next? I've been thinking of the Badger Attack E, or the Battle Mistress. I have several large knives, including kukri's, but have many smaller fixed blades as well. The Badger just seems like the perfect heavy duty all arounder, but the Battle Mistress can chop better, although I prefer to carry a hatchet for chopping. Yeah, I know, I should get them all, but the bank account won't allow for that right now. Thanks for your input.

Steelhed,
I would go for the one that is the most different also. I also have a BB#7. I just went to a show and looked at all of the different Busse's. I ended up getting a Mr. Mojo. It is very different from my #7. I think that I am going to have alot of fun using it. You might want to look at the BB#3 also. Its quite a bit smaller then the Satin Jack.

Mike-

I would suggest the BA/E. It's a very capable blade, with the right sheath very easy on the belt all day.-- a slight advanatage over the SJ.

But then again, Andrew may be right, bigger is always better up on the Denali... :)

Shawn - I would go with the #3, but I have a Dozier in that size and a Mayo near that size being made as we write. The thought was there though, especially knowing that the Basics are going away. Thanks.

my suggestion is somewhat in line with Andrew Lynch's with a minor twist - get the Battle Mistress - it is most different and definitely unique.

Now if you can find a straight handled model you will have a true collectable and part of fixed blade history!
