Aloha ALL,

Did a minor mod of sorts awhile back, and forgot to post about it.:o I will add some pics later. However, grab some grip tape from the local hardware store and place a strip on the "thumb area" of the slippery, plastic sheath.:D Use a lighter or whatever to "melt" it in place...not too long or you'll wreck your sheath!

This lil' piece of grip on that area of the sheath does wonders in terms of draw. Whether you use the enclosed chain or run a Tek-Lok, it helps...

Try it out, and you'll see what I mean.

God bless and take care all:cool:

I might have to try that, whenever I get off my *** and remember to get a sheath...

Ay Chad, Good advise...it was the first thing I did when I got the Fixed Blade...first I had it on a Tek-Loc riding in the mid back position...but after breaking two of them (getting in and out of the car) I decided to use the FB inside the outer pocket of my coat...by pressing the thumb on the grit strip the holster would stay in the pocket poping right off while the knife was quickly outside the pocket in my hand...Doc:D

Sorry so late ALL,

Here is what I meant:

REALLY helps out a lot...you'll see.;)

God bless and take care:cool:

Now I need to get a Subcom FB to compliment my folder. The cardboards worst nightmare!
