I can't remember the last time I posted. It has been a while.

I have been lurking, but not posting much. Kinda taking a time out to manage the personal life a bit.

But all has worked out for the good, thank God. I have a new job starting 5/17/04 (now i don't have to relocate to Detroit) and I got re-engaged to the Alabama Hottie on 5/01/04.

Now I just need to get back into the shop. I think it has been about 6 or 7 weeks since I have worked on a knife. I had hoped to get that Viking dagger done and bring it for Show and Tell in the Pit at the blade show, but I don't see that happening.

But Amanda and I will be at Blade in June. Flight is booked, reservations made, and all is set.

Sean, good to have ya back! Yep, you have been busy. Congratulations on the gal back, too. You are proving to be irresistable to blondes, that's what it is.
 
Thanks Guys, I appreciate it. It has been pretty stressful with the whole job thing going on. I don't know how many more midnight phone calls I could stand getting from my 6 year old daughter crying because she didn't want me to move. :( Not a good thing.

Now I can actually sleep for more than two hours a night. Heck, today I didn't roll out of bed until almost noon. This week of vacation before starting the new job is going to be good. :D ;) :D

Thanks again, and I am looking forward to meeting alot of you in Atlanta. Just look for the girl in the below picture, I won't be far behind. ;)

No, I didn't let her take the truck, or the ring. I guess I am selfish. :rolleyes: ;)

But I did make up for the ring thing, she has a 1.5 Karat Princess Cut instead of the 1.0 Karat Marquise Cut one that I bought her on the first go round. Sure is cheaper to stay single. :footinmou :D ;)

Oh, yeah, when you all see her at Blade, make sure you call her Stumpy. She loves it! HeHeHe
 
Sean, I can tell right now, you are far too homely for her! She belongs in Iowa. We have a severe shortage of girls that cute, here, just good looking guys and corn fed gals. Just joking, big guy! Hey, you two make a good lookin' couple, even though I am better looking than you! OK, I give up, the better man wins again! Best wishes to you folks, Sean. She is getting a great guy!
