I'm new around, so I figured I say hello before trolling the boards.

I've always loved knives, but the only people I had known for a while weren't really into them. And those that I did meet were only into pretending to combat with swords and such. I'm not a huge fan of that so I kinda gave up on knives for a while. No one was talking to me about them and no one wanted to hear me rant about them.

It wasn't until my boyfriend, who first introduced me to the forums (shooby), and his love of knives that I realized I had given up on something I enjoy.

I'm not very knowledgable in anything knife related. I just know what I like and what I don't like. I'm hoping to learn form my time here, have a good time, and eventually have a decent collection to be proud of.

So nice to meet you all. I apologize in advance for any stupid questions I might ask.
 
Welcome aboard Asha, you have come to right place. Remember there are no stupid questions, some stupid answers maybe. :D

Welcome to the forums. If you have a question, ask it. Someone around here should be able to give you a suitable answer.

Hello, Asha. :) If you spend enough time here, you will learn more about knives than you can even imagine. I have even started making knives, due in part to my time here. :eek: :cool:

Welcome! You made a good decision coming to this forum because the knife knuts here really know their stuff. There's probably a million years of combined knowledge (and opinions) amongst them...er, make that ten million. :D You'll find out soon enough that the people here aren't shy about saying what they think, so just say what's on your mind and have fun with it.
 
Heheh! Asha was afraid to post here because she thought nobody would pay attention to her, or that nobody would like her because she's new.

I promised her that bladeforums was full of some of the friendliest guys on Earth, and that she had nothing to fear.

Welcome! These forums are great. The people who post here are almost always very respectful (even if they don't agree with something). You found some good people here. ;)
