Not sure if this is appropriate here, but I have an opportunity to buy a Civilian. It has a metal handle with black synthetic inserts. I heard that this is one of the first Civilian models but my Google-fu hasn't yielded anything that looks like it. So if someone could weigh in and tell me if its real, I'd gladly appreciate it.

Thanks guys for the help! I bought it after some research and I have some specs on the model I bought: G2 blade, aluminum frame and Kraton inserts. It was lightly carried and used but in great condition. It has me itching to buy a new current generation Civilian, these knives are just so...wicked! I'll post pics tomorrow.
