new to the forums. I carry a Leek in s30v with G10 scales everyday. love this knife. Knives are a lot like shoes you can tell a lot about a man by them lol. not sure what my leek says about me but I'll let you guys have a go...

You carry a G10 leek? It says to me you appreciate a good knife. Reading anything else into it is psychological mumbo-jumbo. ;)

Its light and small in my pocket. so I do not even notice it until I need to use it. The S30v holds an edge really well and I keep it shaving sharp at all times. I have another cheaper Kershaw that I abuse at works and a USMC Ka-bar that has been put to hard work as well. My Leek is my favorite EDC. I am picking us a CRK Nyala for hunting season. I have been dreaming about that knife for a few months now, and when I can find a BRKT pro-scalpel II for sale I am getting it too..

I really like the "Skinner" I just wish I could get it in s30v. I have a Kershaw "needs work" in the same steel and I can tell the difference. Then again for only $30 and a RMEF version maybe I cant lol. While I like and buy other knives you cant beat he value that you get from a kershaw.

It tells me your a practical fellow that doesn't have any use for an oversized or overbuilt built folder and somewhat of a minimalist.

sorry, I have a buddy who carries a Leek. He has small hands and wears tight pants.
My step father and step brother also carry leeks. One of them is a retired lumber jack and bush pilot, and the other was an air plane mechanic and now works as an electrician in a ship yard.

I worked with a guy who ate an apple everyday and he cut it with is leek. It looked like the perfect knife for the job. Do you like apples?

LOL I am a Union IronWorker I refrain from tight pants, but sometimes my shirts are a little tight in the arms....

When I see a guy pull out a giant folder to cut a tag off I always think they might be over compensating.....

I used to work with this other guy, He was 6-3 when he slouched and as broad as a barn door. He absolutely loved using miniature tools. I would get such a kick when seeing him pull out a mini-razor knife or a tiny crescent wrench. Something about it was just hilarious.

I think the Leek is a bit too ubiquitous to indicate anything meaningful about the owner, as your example illustrates. Great knife, I really like mine.
