I think his body went into shock when he received his 5.1. Have you ever seen The Matrix? The machines had to create an imperfect false reality to keep humans stable and unconscious because the human brain kept rejecting the projection of a perfect world. I think the perfection of the knife was too much! Really though, it is a nerve pain thing.

Andy, I don't mean to make light of your situation, but wanted to add a little humor. I really hope you are on your way to recovering and being pain free and enjoying that long awaited treasure!
