Congratulations to the Red Sox on the AL pennant! Cool beans! That was a great series comeback, and enjoyable to watch.

Good luck to the Sox in the Series.

Yup, congrats to the Sox, but it wasn't all that fun for me. I'm originally from the NE Ohio area, and have been waiting my whole life for a Cleveland Championship.

I really believed this was the year too. Oh well, we'll get em next year.

So, now it's..........GOOOOOOOOOOOOO BUCKEYES!!!

Now, you know better than that. You can't push over Brutus. He's like a weeble, he wobbles, but he don't fall down.

Two in a row:cool::cool::thumbup::thumbup:

Yeah, two good games in different ways. I like this team.

It's going to be interesting to see how these sea-level chowdaheads do up at that high elevation over the course of several days there.

We went to youtube last night to get to watch Papelbon's "Underwear Riverdance". Lad's a whacknut....

HEY! HEY! HEY! It looks like the Chowdahead are into the high elevation. Hopefully they will only have one more day at that level.;):D
How about them Rookies.:D

The 'casters mentioned that Okagima and Papelbon had complained about the thin air the first day of practice but it didn't seem to bother them too much last night. Francona went through a lot of pitchers, though; hopefully he'll have a decent 'pen left tonight.

On the other hand, getting to watch Beckett win it all in Fenway wouldn't be too bad, would it? :D

My favorite play of the game last night was watching Lowell steal third. Savvy. The rookies give the Sox a lot.....

Becket would pitch in colorado if the series goes to game 5, it would be shilling on the mound in game 6 back home at fenway if it managed to get that far.

My biggest complaint with the game last night (besides not letting me get to bed till well past 1am) was that the umpire had a very very inconsistant strike zone. The pitchers on both teams couldnt tell if they had a strike or not half the time

Sorry, I had it wrong about locations... every year I get 2-2-1-1-1 of some basketball mixed up with the 2-3-2 format in baseball. May as well go ahead and finish it tonight, then. :D

I agree about the umpire. I noticed he started out giving the high ball then later changed his mind, apparently. Nothing worse than a fickle bastid at the plate! :)

GO SOX! Worthy Champions 2007!

Party down, Chowdaheads!!:D
