The Basic 10 is genius... the basic 11 is geniuser (invented new word... yay.). The only way to improve upon this level of genius is to add an inch! Basic 12!!!! :cool:



A foot of INFI in a capable man's hand may just be the sort of thing that changes the world! Just think what would have happened if Jim Bowie had a foot of INFI at the Alamo... Ol' Santa Anna wouldn't have stood a chance. He may have surrendered at the sight of it.


Will York has made a great point concerning the need for a Basic 8. And the hog community has responded with aplomb! So if you are going to make a basic 8... why not go ahead and up the ante a bit and offer a knife that rounds out the series and will be destined to become perhaps the greatest performance to price chopper ever made?


Somebody wake the Janitor! Bigger is always better... especially when it comes to INFI!



The hogs are hungry for some new infi!!! :D

I'm right there with you. We definitely need more and bigger INFi/Res combos. The B12 is a no-brainer as a must-have.

Just as soon as the glaring Basic 8 Gap is filled. :thumbup:
 
Although I agree with all that has been said, one can not ignore the fact that Scrapyard has produced an amazing specimen of chopping ingenuity with the 1311. Not to be outdone, Jerry needs to produce a Basic 13. Then the series can finally be complete and all the HOGS can rest easy knowing the chapter has a happy ending.

Agree :thumbup: We NEED them gaps filled- first in line is the BASIC 8 then we NEED the BASIC 12 :D
 
Some new knives would be nice, but I would like to simply see Jerry post in the forum. He hasn't done so in over a month.

I'll second that. I'm hoping he made a New Year's resolution not to post until he's able to release the Basic 8.

...but that might not be it. :)
 
Sounds like a great idea. A Basic 12 would work well.

Yep I'm down for a Basic 18. I say let's do this! A basic Machete would be awesome. Less talk more action. A Busse Machete is the the Nuclear Idea of 2014.

I'm glad somebody else is thinking on the same lines. Note...I'm not the one who brought up a Busse Machete. The OP did.
