I love my Buck 55, as I've written here in numerous posts. And I see a lot of other folks chiming in that they like theirs too. But I'm wondering if the model is catching on outside of us knife knuts? I'm thinking it'd be a great idea to put a little leaflet about the 55 inside the packaging with each 110. I mean what 110 fan wouldn't also want a 55, at least for Sundays!? :)

I think they should sell a package deal with both a 110 and a 55, complete with a sheath that holds the 110, with a little "sheathlet" attached to it piggy back style to hold the 55.

I've just ordered mine.I can't wait.
The custom shop sounds a great idea!
Let's start a petition!

There is a limited edition 55,with mirror polished blade, buffalo and mother of pearl scales....very pretty knife.I will get pics later.
A.G .Russel also has custom shop 55's for sell.Mammoth Ivory,Elk,and
Gold lip pearl scales.

The best indication of how well a particular model is doing is if it shows up in the latest Buck catalogue. I took a look and there it is in the 2007.
We are offering the standard model, cool little knife, and one called the Day Hunter that has Yellowhorse scales and bolster work. Nice work Brian Yellowhorse! :D

Joe.....stop with the teasing....it's just not fair. But, how does the "07" catalog look?????

Sorry but I am under strict orders not to divulge any details about the 07 catalogue. We need to make sure we get them in the hands of our dealers first so they know what you are talking about when you ask for a Yellowhorse 055! :)

I promise not to bother you guys again, but I need help identifying a knife and this seemed like the best place to come. Obviously I don't know what I'm doing, so please bear with me. I volunteered to help my husband get information on a knife he received as a safety award from Peabody Coal Company. It has a stationary blade, has an elaborate handle with a gold horse in the middle, was made by Dave Yellowhorse and is in a wooden box with the company name carved into the top and Safety Award 1988 on the side of the box. There is a gold plaque on the inside lid that says "Buck-Custom" hand made by Navajo Artist Dave Yellowhorse. Any information would be wonderful and I promise not to bother you guys again. Thank you so much for any help you may give. JR
