I heard a rumor at this weekend's C&E gun/knife show in Charlotte, NC that a recent CRK newsletter indicated a model was being developed or redesigned to have a Wharncliffe blade. Is there any truth to this information? If so, could you give a hint as to the details/specs?

A small Wharncliffe Sebenza with silver graphics? I'm in for 2 or 3!!!!!!!!!

:}

It's no secret around these parts that I'm hoping for a redesigned Umfaan with a Wharncliffe blade. However, a model who's size placed it between the Umfaan and the small Sebbie would be really sweet. What a perfect platform on which to include a Wharnie blade. ;) ;)

:eek:

I think that it would be an extremely welcome surprise to a buncha CRK diehards !

Expecially. . .G2. :D

And ME ! :D

Just when I thought I'd bought enough CRK Folders....please make the Wharnie a small Sebenza and DUAL thumblugs as standard :)

Hmmm - not sure just which company issued that newsletter ...? :) :) Sorry, but right now, there are no plans for a Wharncliffe blade in any model. However, as I have frequently said, Never say never!

Well darn I had gotten my hopes up. Well at least you didn't say never. Thanks for the info.

This is when a "bawlin' like a baby smilie" would do nicely. :D

I guess that one of these will just have to do - - - - -> :(

All the broken hearts. . . . it's all trane fan's fault. :p ;) :D

Well maybe no one has broken the news to the CRK group yet? ;)

I would think you could book 100 knives in less than a month if you offered
the option of a modified wharncliff bladed...in say...

Mnandi

Small Sebenza

that'd be very nice...and my birthday is just around the corner too...:)

(well it's a long ways around the corner but then I did turn 50 in Jan...)

G2, I've heard about the appeal of wharncliffe's and you old-timers. Much easier to sharpen with bad eyes.

:)

Professor.
