i have one of your beautiful bushcraft knives, and was wondering something about the green micarta handle. i think mine needs a little smoothing down in some areas, and some nicks taken out, so what would you recommend? i think you said you beadblast them, so, can i do anything with sandpaper? just really want to smooth it out a little. if i use something like 200 grit, would it mess up the look? i want to keep the original look of the micarta. thanks for any advice.

best bet would be to use 120 grit sandpaper - cut one sheet into 8 equal pieces (fold in half, cut, repeat) and you'll use probably 3-4 pieces to completely refinished and remove any wear-n-tear.

Tape the blade to avoid any accidental scratches.

Best of luck!

Sure thing, Bro!

Just as a general note to David - and anyone else reading this...

I will gladly restore a bead-blasted finish for free - just pay return shipping.

Thanks!
