I have seen their knives at the Knife Center website and also on Motengs website. Who is this company and What else can we expect?

I don't know much about them other than they are new and they are made in Taiwan. They do have a few knives in which their designs are questionable (not gonna say "knock offs", but they look awfully close to some knives we all know), such as this one: http://store.knifecenter.com/pgi-Product Spec?VT13100 . Not sure about the quality of the knives, but I am guessing they maybe on par with CRKT and Timberline. Bang for the buck.

One of their fixed blades (the Tritek) looks like a rip-off a certain popular design by a certain popular knife maker known for great no-nonsence knives in D2, in my opinion. If I say any more I might get sued. Perhaps I've already said too much.

Don't worry, you won't get sued. We here on the forums have talked about knock offs in the past and we have named specifics too.

I have on of the Vipers )the slim liner lock that looks a lot like a BM94X).

Aside from the ..uh.. 'design homage' issues, seems like a good stout cheap folder, on par with thw average CRKT. Nice weight in the hand, blade opens smoothly, and the edge geometry was good right out of the box. I don't think that it will end up in my EDC, but really not bad.

I'd say that they show some influences emerson, loveless, dozier, but i wouldnt call them knock offs

I haven't seen a website for them yet. I figured with their price point and their materials that they would be in line with CRKT. Maybe they are doing something similar to Spark and paying the designers royalties. I hate when companies rip off ideas.

Lizard King- Which model do you think looks like a emerson. None stood out when first looked at their line of knives. The one that I thought was pushing the limit reminded me of the Benchmade Osbourne.

Yeah, I saw them at knifecenter's website. That Vtech Venom does "resemble" the Benchmade Osborne. **Pics are from Knifecenter.com***

Javier - thanks for posting pics. That one Vtech was the first I saw on KCI's site and yep, it does bear a strong resemblance to the BM 940.

Anybody have a high quality scan of any of their folders?

I have handled both folders. They seem to be extremely good for the price. The larger folder is much thicker blade and better lock up. For around $30 it could be the starter.
