I havent been in here in a long time but thought I would stop by and say hi to you guys.......Tommy, Phil, Dave, Rick and Tom....my favorite customer from PA ;), and everyone else!!! Just in to read some of the posts and also to get some price info on some of the knives I purchased when I was working at the cutlery, Still sad that the place is standing there and rotting away, kinda makes my tummy upset :barf:.

Have they had any potential buyers or what>???????? It looks like ghost town there and they still leave the flippin lights on...:rolleyes:...LOL

Thanks Ivan, for the feedback. I heard the same about Bear and Ontario but not sure if there is any truth behind it.
 
and even if they produce the patterns they are still not the camillus of old:grumpy: my first real knife was a camillus, still have it too!

Hello Maureen. Good to hear from you.

Acme is introducing 6 new Camillus knives at the Hardware Show this month. Pictures of the new knives are posted on their website.

Ontario and Bear bought all the tooling at the Sept. 2007 auction.

I keep in contact with several of the former cutlery employees like Tom Liggett, Wallace Rockwell, Don Cook and Maria LaTone. I will tell them about your BF post.
