I tried to update my Norton antivirus software right after I posted the pic of the tractor. My puter has been an assrag ever since and wont connect.

I'll be trying to get it straight and get back in here soon. I'm over at a friends house posting this.

If you have any problems , get with Darrell.

Hope all you poo-poo heads are doing okay.

mark did you go to the new Norton from the old Norton? or stay with the old version with no tech support offered now for that renewal?
I went to the new one from the old and it slowed me waaaaay down. :grumpy:
time for a faster processor here..
you could have had a slower puter than I and it 's not carrying you now.
timing out on everything? just a guess
 
:mad: Norton is a bad program anyway. Although it works great catching viruses, it basicly takes too much control of your computer. Thats why everything slows wayyyyy down. Get AVG Anti-Virus, there's a free edition and it work just as good as the one you can buy.

I agree with the AVG.Been using the free edition for years.One thing that affects all antivirus software is the size of the definition files used to scan and look for infections.They take up lots of room.The more files you have the longer the software has to work to do its job.Some say virus numbers may even double in the next few years adding that much more burden to our aging computers.Anyway, I like free and AVG is for me.

Had to reload my puter. Finally got all the bugs worked out. Whew!!

Just that and been busy watching Deb pack all our stuff. We hope to moved to the new digs by months' end. I dont know what I'd do without Her and friends.

The new neighbors are some great folks. They will be moving us in at the new place. I'll have some family there too helping.

Still havent decided on the fusion surgery. :(

Other than the ordeal of moving and piss poor health. I'm doing great :)
 
pshh, windows.... get a mac. glad to hear you're squared away tho. you still movin out west, Mark? i've been absent for a while, and havn't been keeping up with the latest news....
